On Monday, July 13, 2026, José Luis García Parra, coordinator of the Puebla Government Cabinet, submitted a formal erratum to the State Congress to correct a population data error found in the previously presented report on the Cablebús system. This report serves as a precursor to his scheduled appearance before state legislators on July 15.
García Parra took to X to clarify that during the preparation of the document, a population table for 11 municipalities included in the Urban Mobility Plan was mistakenly inserted. The figures on page 22 of the report did not match those from the original technical study.
He emphasized that this was an editorial mistake and does not affect the technical content, methodology, diagnoses, or conclusions of the Cablebús project. The corrected data aligns with the original study, and the projections shared with Congress remain valid.
An image shared by García Parra shows the erratum document stamped as received by the State Congress on Friday, July 10, confirming the formal submission of the correction.
The Puebla Government reiterated its commitment to transparency and accuracy in official information as the Cablebús project advances. This cable car system, designed to improve urban mobility, continues to be a promising alternative for sustainable and inclusive public transportation in the region.
