A tourist in his mid-60s suffered serious injuries after being charged by a bison at Bridge Bay Campground in Yellowstone National Park. According to Cowboy State Daily, the incident unfolded as the enraged bison ran around the campsite before attacking the man, throwing him into the air.
Mike MacLeod, who captured the event on video, described the bison’s aggressive behavior leading up to the attack. The victim sustained injuries to his hip and leg, highlighting the dangers of close encounters with wildlife in natural parks.
This event serves as a reminder of the importance of respecting wildlife boundaries, especially in protected areas like Yellowstone, where animals roam freely and can react unpredictably when provoked or startled.
