A chilling video surfaced revealing how a man intentionally ran over his partner in a parking lot in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, and then attempted to cover up the crime by pretending she had fallen down the stairs.

The footage, lasting over two minutes, shows José Antonio, 48, reversing his car out of a parking spot. When his partner, 38-year-old Gory Doris Salas López, appears in front of the vehicle, he accelerates and deliberately runs her over. After driving a few meters forward, he stops, gets out, and slowly approaches her. The video captures him moving her along with her belongings before placing her back into the car.

He then takes her to a hospital, where he tells medical staff that she had fallen down the stairs in their apartment at the Murania complex near La Banda neighborhood.

However, forensic evidence later confirmed that this was not an accident but a clear case of femicide. Authorities have since arrested José Antonio, holding him responsible for the crime.

This tragic event highlights the urgent need for stronger protections and justice mechanisms for women facing violence in Mexico.
