The upcoming Cableb\u00fas system in Puebla is poised to transform daily commutes for more than 43,000 workers whose workplaces are located within 500 meters of its stations, according to information shared in a press conference by cabinet coordinator Jos\u00e9 Luis Garc\u00eda Parra.<\/p>\n
Garc\u00eda Parra emphasized that the Cableb\u00fas will significantly reduce travel times for workers. The stations are being strategically placed near major employment centers, allowing people to walk directly to their jobs after disembarking from the transport.<\/p>\n
Construction work on the four planned lines\u2014connecting the stadiums area and Amalucan with Angel\u00f3polis\u2014is scheduled to resume in June.<\/p>\n
Who Will Benefit?
\nDuring the press conference, Garc\u00eda Parra provided a breakdown of the estimated number of workers who will benefit in each area:<\/p>\n
– CIS: 717 establishments, nearly 7,900 workers
\n– Parque Ju\u00e1rez: 1,118 commercial establishments, 8,400 employees
\n– CENHCH: 939 establishments, 6,000 workers
\n– Parque Ecol\u00f3gico: 403 establishments, about 2,500 workers
\n– Xonaca: 594 establishments, 3,840 workers
\n– Unidad Deportiva: 139 establishments, 4,971 workers
\n– Amalucan: 363 establishments, 1,741 employees<\/p>\n
In addition, Garc\u00eda Parra reminded the public that the service will be free for seniors and students, aiming to support family economies and promote social inclusion.<\/p>\n
