On Monday, June 8, 2026, Public Security officers in Cuautlancingo intervened after receiving reports from neighbors about a vehicle parked for several minutes in the San Lorenzo Almecatla auxiliary council area. The neighbors were alerted by noises coming from inside the car, which led to the authorities’ arrival.

The couple inside the vehicle was allegedly engaged in sexual activity when the police approached. According to the report, the individuals became upset when officers did not immediately identify themselves upon request, responding with insults and accusing the police of “kidnapping” them, despite the intervention being a response to community concerns.
