Two days after Emilio Dosseti Michimani went missing, security and rescue teams are still searching for him in Tecali de Herrera. His family found his motorcycle submerged in the Valsequillo canal, prompting an ongoing operation in the area.

The Puebla government confirmed in a statement released on Tuesday, July 14, that the search efforts remain active. Emilio was last seen around 2 a.m. on July 12, leaving a party at Rancho Tecorral. His family last had contact with him while he was heading toward the municipal seat of Tecali de Herrera.

When communication was lost, the family began searching, and at approximately 3:30 p.m. on the same day, they discovered Emilio’s motorcycle inside the canal. Authorities were immediately notified, and ground patrols and inspections started promptly.

The search is concentrated along the Tecali de Herrera-Ahuatepec-Atoyatempan highway, but so far, no new clues or signs of Emilio have been found.

This coordinated effort involves personnel from the Secretariat of the Navy, State and Municipal Civil Protection, State Forest Police, and Firefighters.

While the situation remains critical, the swift response and collaboration among various agencies highlight the importance of coordinated public safety efforts in Puebla’s communities.
