In less than a day, Puebla authorities have reported the discovery of a second lifeless body, this time along the Camino hacia Jardines de la Montaña near Calzada Emiliano Zapata.
The area remains cordoned off by the National Guard while personnel from the State Attorney General’s Office and the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) carry out the necessary procedures and remove the body.
As of now, the victim’s identity, cause of death, and whether there are signs of violence have not been disclosed. These details will emerge as investigations progress.
This finding comes just hours after another man was found dead on Avenida Las Torres in the Cerro del Márquez neighborhood. Preliminary reports indicated that the victim had gunshot wounds to the head.
Authorities have opened separate investigations to determine if there is any connection between the two cases or if they are unrelated incidents.
For residents and migrants in Puebla, these events underscore ongoing challenges in public safety. Meanwhile, efforts like the upcoming cablebús project aim to improve urban mobility and community access, reflecting broader state initiatives to enhance quality of life amid complex social realities.
