On the early hours of July 6, 2026, a disturbing case of animal cruelty unfolded in the community of Trinidad Tepango, Atlixco, Puebla. Around 12:15 a.m., the owner of six mixed-breed dogs discovered her pets lifeless inside her home on 2 Poniente Street, number 4, prompting her to seek immediate help.

The six dogs—Loco (male, about two years old), Loca (female, three years), Meca (female, one year), Negra (female, one year), and two puppies, Chiquito and Peque (both approximately five months old)—are believed to have been poisoned within the residence.
