A police operation unfolded this Friday, July 3, 2026, in San Jerónimo Caleras, a district in Puebla city, after the discovery of a man’s body in a vacant lot beside the train tracks and the Puebla–Tlaxcala federal highway.

The victim, identified as Tomás, 49 years old, showed head injuries and apparent signs of violence, according to initial reports. His body was found near the intersection of the Puebla–Tlaxcala highway and Camino a Ex Hacienda San Juan Tulcingo, an area quickly cordoned off by security forces to preserve evidence.
