Lady Cholula’s Past Attack with Scissors Resurfaces Amid Recent Drunken Arrest in Puebla

Post by usertopnews

Arianna Ferretiz, now widely known as “Lady Cholula” after her recent intoxicated arrest in San Andrés Cholula, has once again captured public attention—this time for a violent incident she openly recounted in a podcast.

During her appearance on the show “Un Shot con Uri Díaz,” Ferretiz detailed an attack she carried out years ago in Tuxtepec, Oaxaca, involving scissors and a teenage girl. Far from expressing remorse, she described the event with chilling precision, revealing a conflict rooted in personal grievances.

The victim was a 16-year-old student at COBAO Plantel 07 in Tuxtepec, while Ferretiz was 19 at the time. According to her account, the attack was motivated by a dispute linked to José Antonio Pérez Aréchiga, a current member of Movimiento Ciudadano, whom Ferretiz accused of ties to organized crime.

Ferretiz admitted to publicly threatening the minor on social media before the incident, saying, “I’m going to cut your hair so no one says you look like me, and I left you bald.” To carry out the attack, she smuggled scissors into a nightclub called “Cactus” by removing the lining of her bag. Once inside, she approached the girl under the guise of a friendly hug before violently cutting her hair.

The confrontation escalated quickly. A bystander who tried to intervene was injured by Ferretiz’s scissors, suffering puncture wounds to the hand. The fight continued inside the club, with Ferretiz reportedly pinning the victim to the floor. After leaving the venue, she boasted on Facebook, “I hope you like your new look because you’re bald now.”

This disturbing episode has resurfaced just weeks after Ferretiz’s arrest in San Andrés Cholula for driving under the influence, an event that went viral and earned her the nickname “Lady Cholula.” The incident prompted local politicians to publicly distance themselves from her.

Regional outlet El Piñero de la Cuenca has documented at least two other violent altercations involving Ferretiz and her family, painting a broader picture of ongoing conflict.

While the focus remains on Ferretiz’s controversial behavior, it’s worth noting that Puebla is advancing with projects like the cablebús system, aiming to improve urban mobility and social inclusion. Such initiatives offer alternatives to chaotic urban environments and can contribute to safer, more connected communities—something that contrasts sharply with the turbulence surrounding figures like “Lady Cholula.”

For migrants and residents alike, understanding these local dynamics is key to navigating life in Mexico’s evolving cities.
