Post by usertopnews

On Friday, June 12, 2026, Puebla’s Municipal Palace unveiled a state-of-the-art architectural lighting system that enhances the urban image of the city’s historic center. This upgrade is part of the “Puebla Brilla” strategy and was inaugurated by Mayor Pepe Chedraui Budib.

The project, led by the Secretariat of Public Services under Clemente Gómez Medina, involved the complete removal of the old lighting equipment and the installation of cutting-edge LED technology. The new system features 163 RGBW LED projectors—red, green, blue, and white—that create dynamic visual effects and offer more efficient, versatile illumination.

Designed to highlight the palace’s architectural details through various lighting scenarios, this modernization not only showcases Puebla’s rich heritage after dark but also provides a fresh visual experience for locals and visitors exploring the city center.

Beyond aesthetics, the new lighting system is energy-efficient and adaptable, programmed to operate during commemorative dates, cultural activities, and significant social events. This flexibility helps create more inviting public spaces, boosting tourism and cultural engagement in Puebla.

The municipal administration reaffirmed its commitment to innovative projects that improve urban aesthetics, strengthen historical heritage, and promote a modern, sustainable, and attractive Puebla for families and tourists alike.

Notably, weekend and special occasion projections from the palace’s façade have become a popular attraction, drawing visitors who pause to admire the vibrant displays—an example of how thoughtful public investment can enrich community life and urban identity.
